This past year we have all faced new challenges that we have learned to overcome together. Our goal at Downtown Doral Charter Elementary School is to teach, nurture, and provide a safe environment for students to express themselves and learn to the best of their abilities. Art programs do exactly that, they help students express themselves in a safe and creative way. They allow students to have a healthy outlet to express how they feel, especially during these different times.
This year’s holiday shows, while a bit different, have been put together with much thought, love, and care. All teachers and students have tried their best to remain calm, keep hopeful, and keep the holiday spirit alive. In the spirit of the holidays and for the sake of the music program, we kindly ask that if you enjoyed the students’ effort in this year’s holiday show, please commemorate the year by purchasing your very own copy of the performance. For a small fee of seven dollars, you can purchase a DVD copy or an instant downloaded copy of this year’s performance and in turn help the music program purchase new instruments and supplies for the students at DDCES.
